More generosity from someone sweet....

Well, I was surprised the other day....Lisa, from A Thing For Roses fame sent me this beautiful package of vintage wallpaper. She said she had hung on to it since the Coburg show...unfortunately I missed her. I did get to meet her bff, Isabel (Maison Deuce) but somehow missed meeting Lisa, she was away from the booth when Mel and I visited. Isabel was so nice, and I do love meeting people whose blogs I read, especially when they live so close.
Anyhoo, Lisa, can't thank you enough! These papers are absolutely gorgeous.....I'll do something fab with them, including something fun coming back your way.
Thanks for thinking of little ole me, I'm touched.....

Gail,

You are so welcome! I'm glad you like them. And thanks for that "A Thing for Roses fame" comment. ha ha Am I famous? Didn't know that. Looking forward to seeing what you create with the papers.

Hugs,

Lisa

Here's an idea for the samples. Now I'm not sure what they are called but I've seen them and they are lovely. You roll a piece of the paper (size is up to you) into a cone - closed at the narrow end and open at the wide, of course. Then cut a small strip and glue it to two sides of the top to make a handle. On the front, decorate at will: a small picture, a victorian sticker, a small spray of artifical flowers, etc. Inside, use your imagination again: fill with tiny artifical flowers, baubles on a nest of cotton ball - anything. A few of these hanging on a Christmas tree are really pretty! :)
