Creating for July 4th.............

So I was at a store the other day (you know the one that has tons of bagged goods that you get to sift through). Love that! And I came across these bags of perfectly weathered old children's building blocks.
They were so wonderfully aged.....brought them home and made the little Miss Patriotic below....just not sure if I want to sell her or put her up on my mantle for the 4th of July :).
I do hope you're all having a great Summer so far....mine has been crazy busy and it's only day 2! What's that about? Thought Summer was supposed to be relaxing....no matter, I love it all!
Thanks for checking in, I'm still perusing blogs on the Where Blogger's Create party, that will go on for some time I think...what amazing spaces some of you ladies have!

I had those exact blocks when I was a child! My mom still has them and my kids play with them when they visit. I have fond memories of them. You've created and adorable Fourth of July decoration!!!
