So I'm not one of those lucky people who find great vintage floral hats at a great price......I'm good with that, it's just a fact. Today after dropping dd off at her golf class I had a bit of time to thrift. And found this cute little number, sorry you're seeing her after I've completely surgically removed her gorgeous blooms. I wouldn't feel good doing this with just any ole hat, but this one...it was o.k. She's seen better days and was more good to me cut up than in her original state. Nuff said....now I have lots of beautiful velvet blooms to create with, and also some velvet green leaves.

Those flowers look so velvety and soft. I wonder, what will you make with them? They are special.
