Let's jam!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a very tiny portion of the jam that we put up took hours but in the dead of Winter when it's freezing cold outside and you want some toast with jam...this fits the bill. It's a taste of Summer in the middle of Winter.
I highly recommend! Sorry Smuckers...:(
You've been replaced!

So amazing that you do this.

Oh how fun! We used to pick wild blackberries on Sauvies Island and make the best jam ever. You are absolutely right about a bite of Summer in the dead of winter!

Oh, how I complained when my mom would can peaches, jams and tomatoes.
Now, I'd give anything to have a jar of homemade jam or my mom's famous tomato relish.

This post takes me back to my childhood. Thank you Gail.
