Do you speak a second language?

I don't, but if I did it would be this one! I came across this french dictionary this weekend at one of my thrift's called "Heath's Petit Larousse Illustre".  Published in 1922 and when I opened it I fell in love. Look at the illustration's...aren't they pretty? Each letter has the beautiful decorative pictures leading into that chapter.
Nerd that I am, I took it to bed with me so I could just enjoy the pictures. Maybe if I read it enough some of it will rub off on me?
Oh, if only.....

What a treasure, Gail! I do speak a little French, but wish I was better at it!

YOU are hilarious, I took Lilla's fabric book to bed with me, so we are both nerds! Too funny. Oh Gail, thanks for the laugh. I love this book, it is awesome.

WOW that is a wonderful find!!!
I would sleep with it under my pillow like a little kid to refer to. LOL
I started to learn Japanese years ago for my job and still can say a few things but it has gotten lost up there with everything else I have learned in school.

Oh my gosh...what a sweet find!
I came across some early grammar
books and lately I'm obsessed with

French would be a great language
to speak...although I think my
southern accent would ruin it..ha ha

Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥
