Of course I had to use my favorite fabric for the skirts. I also used german glass glitter and velvet leaves for their wings. They now reside in my Etsy shop...:). I'll be back soon to share the most amazing package I received in the mail today. Hope you all have a lovely evening! These both sold, thanks so much!!! |

so pretty- what a great idea!!! I am visiting from graphics fairy
You aren't going to share withus how you made the angel ornaments?! I have this graphic too and would love to make these ornaments:)
Hi smokeysmom,
Sure I'll share how I made these. First print out the graphic in the size you prefer. Then I cover the back with vintage sheet music (you can use whatever you like to cover the back, I like to do this to give it a more finished look.
I also age all my paper with inks to get rid of the bit of white that shows when you cut something out.
Then pick whatever parts of the image that you want to glitter and use real glass glitter because it ages the best (tarnishes).
Then I use stickles and put on a fabric trim for her belt.
If you like wings, look around for dresden wings, vintage millinery, or make your own out of paper.
Then punch a hole at the top, and finish with whatever ribbon or string hanger you'd like...enjoy.
Love this angel sooo much. Sorry I missed them. You are going to have to plan to make more for next Christmas. I'd love to have one. :)
