So crowns aren't new to this crafty, creative blog world...... |
But I've never attempted to make one.....until now..thanks to.... |
My sweet friend Amy, at Mittens....she makes beautiful crowns for her doll heads. And if I'm honest, which I am, I'll admit that I was just a little bit jealous of them. I had a doll who has a "bad hair day" every day. She needed some help...so with Amy's inspiration I made my first crown ever. I think "Ruby" is happy now, and feels that she has finally "arrived". Now.....about her little friend in the background...hmmmm |

Love that crown! judy
Oh yay!
It turned out beautiful and it definitely fits your style perfectly! Glad I could inspire some creative juices.
We should have a crown blogging party.
Get everyone to make a crown and join in.

Judy,

Gail, your crown is fabulous!!! See, it doesn't hurt to try. You might have a lot of glue on your fingers but you did it!
Amy inspires us all, doesn't she? She is the reason I started sewing again!!!
Ruby is a beauty- I love the idea of making crowns for all my doll heads- maybe even changing them out with the seasons.
Oh , what a happy girl she must be to have such a gorgeously adorned crown!! Did you do all of the ribbon flowers by hand Gail?
Lovely, Lovely.
